What is the name of this knot?

I saw this knot/hitch on a YouTube video some time ago, but the guy showing it did not know the name of it. Anyone here know it?

Here it is in my small park hammock that I keep in the trunk. It’s a fun hitch and I like it better than the Beckett hitch - seems simpler to tie and pull out to me and it looks nice and tidy.

I love quick release - a quick pull and it all comes apart.

Yep it's a knot. It hard to make out which one without knowing how it tied and I can't figure that out based on the pic.

It looks like a girth or cow hitch on a bight. The bight is so you can pull it undone

I think I found it - searching for J-Bend I found this. He calls it a modified clove hitch. Changed my life! .

Anyone associated with horses will recognize this as a saddle cinch 'knot', aka: girth hitch.

Get Phantom Grappler to ID it. He knows more about knots than anyone else I have come across.
I am still 18 but with 52 years of experience !

Gunner, I can’t see enough detail in photo to identify knot.
I agree with other posts, it can possibly be J-bend or a slipped girth hitch, also called a great number of other names, slipped cow hitch among others.
Tpatter, as long as your knot, hitch, or bend; holds without slipping or jamming, and is easy to tie, you’ve got a winning combination.
First time I saw slipped cow hitch tied directly to someone’s hammock as their suspension, I was dumbfounded, just could knot believe it would work. It was at a Smoked Butt Hang hosted by Gunner and The Terminator!

This was the cinch "knot" I most often used on a riding saddle as it lies flat. For pack saddles it was a loop poked through the ring and a slippery bight pushed through. That made it easy to both tighten the cinch and to pull it all loose in one quick motion for unsaddling.

Clove hitch and girth hitch are two different knots. Clove hitch has the second loop thrown with the working end running the opposite way of the lead end and the girth hitch has both the working and lead end exiting the loop in the same direction. Clove hitch is a fantastic climbing knot for adjusting anchors. I use it very often for adjusting the webbing holding my bike upright on the hitch mounted "motorcycle" carrier. The girth hitch would most likely come loose.
