You can see my camo DCF tarp in this video. Way less translucent for sure.

Like CountryBois says, "if you are up at the break of dawn and down after dark, and never spend a rainy day under it, it may not make any difference." I don't lounge in my hammock during the day - to me, hammocks are for sleeping, not lounging. I've never had a "should have got the camo" moment because I'm not a member of the "you can't see me" camo crowd.

If you're gonna go UL, go UL! My HG Winter Palace (which is gray or green - I can't tell) is my proudest possession because it's 8.9 ounces and about the same size as a Superfly.

I decided this weekend that I really liked the view of the stars thru the DCF Camo. I like getting up when the sun comes up too. Best of both worlds for me.

I am rockinga HG standard dyneema, and the quality is top notch. I’m looking for one with doors, but other than that, I’m as happy as could be with its performance/build.

My 'Holy Grail' tarp is the one Intimidator sold a year or two ago... so pissed I missed that one. HG custom cuben Standard Hex, with doors at one end. Yes indeed, I have given thought to cutting the doors off my tarp. Gone are those days where our cottage vendors were open to custom work...

Ok, so with all that has been said so far...about different company’s dynema tarps, is there a quality difference between them? Or has it just been price, loyalty, it’s the only one you’ve had so it’s the best etc.

Or a DCF 'Thunderfly' would certainly have my interest.
