Looking for a Hammock for my daughter and wow, look what I found

    Amazon Link: https://tinyurl.com/OneWindHammock
    their website: https://www.onewindoutdoors.com

A double hammock with mosquito netting for $75.99 and there's a 5% off coupon right now (09/16/2020)

Look at the list of features:
    • 11ft x 68"
    • 2.2 Rip Stop Nylon Hex - One piece
    • 2 x 10ft Tree Straps with synch buckles
    • Double-sided Stuff Sack
    • Integrated Bugnet
    • UHMWPE Whoopie Sling Ridgeline
    • Ridgeline Lantern Mount
    • Ridgeline Organizer
    • 30-Day Money Back Guarantee

I was looking to get my daughter setup for hammock camping and ran across this deal on Amazon. Pretty much a well rounded starter hammock without breaking the bank!

I also went to their website and they have pretty much all of the Hammock accessories covered as well: Tarps, Gear Hammocks, Snakes, Top & Bottom Quilts, Stuff Sacks and more. I'm sending an e-Mail to see if they are US based, or if anything is made in the US.

    Woot,

Definitely chinese (grammar on the site is good, but definitely chinese)

Probably a good value for the money, but definitely some compromises made compared to the cottage vendors (quality control, warranty, service, weight). That said, I'm tempted to get one for a loaner or wife setup on the cheap. not a bad option if you dont have a big budget

Unfortunately, I'm guessing that the 5 USD discount may be a hint that they aren't US based if that is a requirement.

This statement is so true. But it says more about many people here than it does the products. IMHO this aspect holds back the greatness of what could be.

Micro, I am glad you found a good option for you.

    OutandBack, I know you right
The good part is, they are getting dimensions better than what is usually a real short hammock. I don’t know if they researched hammocks or copied someone’s product. I do wonder what’s taking them so long to improve their hammocks. Maybe the short hammocks have had good enough sales to continue. Or maybe language barrier.
Does anyone know if Hammock Forums is available to Chinese people in China?
Phantom guess...maybe not. I don’t remember posts on threads from Chinese in China—neither China nor Taiwan
So maybe it’s a cultural thing (not into camping)and language barrier for some.

Lots of stuff, Phantom don’t know. Sorry for poor organization of ideas and hope I haven’t made anyone mad for thinking out loud.

2.2 hex fabric is going to be some stout material and a little on the heavy side if that makes any difference.

Hm, this kind of suprises me, but according to https://www.comparitech.com/privacy-...lockedinchina/ hammockforums.net is indeed available

Ridge Outdoor Gear looks to be back with a new batch of usable "Amazon Special" hammocks that aren't trash. The last batch had good reviews with regards to materials and workmanship and it looks like they upgraded to a dyneema SRL and double-ended stuffsack. Thinking I might pick one up as a "guest hammock" for curious friends.
