    Greetings from Smokey LA

Not sure how or why, but became obsessed with hammocking during the lockdown. Watched hours of Shug and others learning about the practice. It takes a lot of research just to go to a site to buy a hammock! But eventually bought a hammock and tarp from Dutchware, just in time to go out to Yosemite. Proof was in the pudding. Just as I suspected, its a game-changer for the backpacking experience. Now I've got to get my friends onboard as it's a drag dealing with the ground dwellers or as I now call them the terrestrials. So much has changed with just one experience. Now I'm working on converting my old mummy bag to an underquilt and just bought a JacksRBetter topquilt. I realize there's so much to learn and that's why I'm here. Cheers!

Howdy from Houston. Used to live in Marina del Ray and hung a hammy out on the balcony. Stay safe with that air quality you've got now.

Hey from Denver. Your story sounds a lot like mine, I like the name terrestrial for the ground dwellers, going to have to steal that.
