11' Silpoly Thunderfly or equivalent and 20° TQ

Open to other tarps (Journey, etc) but I like the size of the end shelter doors on the Thunderfly.

    Must have:
    - end "doors"
    - silpoly
    - Hex shape

    Nice to have:
    - panel pulls
    - ridge line

For TQ looking for Revelation, Bandit, Burrow ideally.

    Thanks!

Still looking! Should season is upon us in the PNW and I'm hoping to get out as soon as the smoke clears. So if you got either of these I'll take em!

I know that you prefer the SilPoly. But I have a Warbonnet Thunderfly in the 30D SilNylon. It is green. It is 11 feet in length. It has panel pulls, and they have been seam sealed by me. It also comes with the 2 recommended mini-carabiners, but there is no guy lines or riidgeline included. It weighs 14.35 ounces in stuff sack on my scale.

Used 6 nights. Looking for $95 shipped with no wait time. Good luck with your search.

Thanks dblhmmck! Im strongly considering given how few options have come up. Do you have any pics? I'm less concerned about the weight penalty of the nylon and more concerned about the water retention. What was your experience with the tarp?

Also does it have a skin or just stuff sack?

    Thanks!

Original stuff sack included, No additional skins.

I experienced one rain storm under the Thunderfly. It was in the Sierra's. I had to make a good pitch to protect the WBRR. But it was a full success. Hammock and UQ stayed totally dry, It held some water when I packed it away. But I can't say that I noticed the additional weight. I am attempting to attach the one good photo of this tarp.IMG_1672.JPG
