4-season Explorer: How waterproof is the stock compression bag

    Hi all:

The noob is here with another question! I got a 4-Season explorer, and it comes with a compression bag. Just curious if anyone has tested (intentionally or not!!) how waterproof this bag was?

Just trying to plan how I'll pack my backpack, and if this can go outside or if it needs to go inside!

I'll be surprised if any one knows. Buy it seems easily put to the test. Fill it up with water- if one end is closed- or lay it inside a sink to form a basin- and fill er up. Then see how long- if at all- it keeps the water out.
