My Wooki falls out during the night

    Hey guys

Second time camping in my Blackbird XLC and it is certainly very comfortable. However again my Wooki seems to come out during the night and bunch to my right side, leaving me feeling pretty cold and having to jump out to wrap it under the hammock again. I am putting it on the correct way and tying it to the right side - any idea what I might be doing wrong here? It seems to gradually get sucked under.

    Thanks!

Try raising the foot end of your hammock a bit and see it that helps, also when you pull it up is it tight where it takes some force to pull up or is it loose and easy to pull back up? it should be fairly tight when fitted properly.

If this happens with my Wooki I open the zipper, reach out with my right hand, grab the Wooki and pull it under me again.

Have had that "problem" with my Yeti from time to time. Surprised to read that it happens with a Wooki!

I do the same. I use a catchall sack and things can get a little off with the stuffing and unstuffing. A quick adjust to make sure covering the head shoulders area as designed is easy.

I sewed 3 pack hooks to my blackbird, and then sewed 3 strips of gross grain to the Wookiee so it can now be held into place better. Between that and the strap that holds the bug net back, I’ve got 4 points of contact holding the underquilt in place.

I do not have a Wookie but hope to get one. I found that two pack hooks on the entry side about a foot from the end is enough to keep my UQ's in place. If they do slip it is only a few inches making it very easy to pull back into place.
