Fake it 'til you make it!
It would be great to have you. CV2 stands for Crescent Valley 2. It is a group hang site found and named by HF member> Mule.
The HFHoosier Fall Hang is in The Deam Wilderness Area in the Hoosier National Forest, south of Bloomington, IN.
Here's one of the better maps from a former thread. Ask for directions and/or a meet up is always possible if need be.

The Parking lot and trailhead access are at the Hickory Ridge Fire Tower. Not the red line from the road. That access has been closed.
Follow the(yellow) fire trail north from the fire tower parking lot to the Sycamore Branch Trail head and turn right. It's a nice hike. Starts out as a ridge walk then you descend into Sycamore Hollow via a short switchback and follow along the creek for a bit. About 20' before you get the the wooden sign for Campsite #2, turn left into the woods and roughly follow the large creek on the right a few hundred yards until things open up into a meadow of sorts. You are there. About 1.7miles from the parking lot.

After 10 years it would be weird if I didn't post my annual "I'll try" and then not show up. But this year...I'll try!
I still plan to be there. See you next weekend!
Just to piggy-back on Rolloff's directions.... Once you turn left at campsite 2, you will follow the main creek/ravine, cross one offshoot creek/ravine on the left and keep following the main one. Just past the SECOND offshoot to the left is where you will find the meadow that we will be camping in. Turn left and follow the meadow back.
Our hang site has kind of migrated further back, so if you just keep that second ditch/creekbed on your left(meadow on your right) and follow it back, you will find us.

Pretty sure you'll be able to leave the filtering kit at home. Creeks dry as a bone this weekend.
Bring a little extra water or just plan a resupply run. Woods were great, expect a crowed parking lot on Saturday.

Confirming. I'm hoping to be somewhere out there Thursday afternoon.
This weekend opened up for me (for now) and I'm going to give it a try. Hopefully you don't mind an east-central Illinois boy coming over.
