Hi hammock enthusiasts!
Wife and I are driving up to Flagstaff for labor day weekend and planning to do some dispersed camping up there. Anyone know any good spots for hammock camping in the Flagstaff area?

Reach out to Dejoha, perhaps by a PM. He's very familiar with hammocking spots in the Flagstaff area.
If you jump on the AZT, either north of or south of Flagstaff, you will find any number of great spots to hang. Personally I like the section of trail around San Francisco peak. And you get a great hike in.

Reached out to Dejoha and ended up hammock camping near Clear Creek Canyon. It was lovely!IMG_8946.jpg
Marshall Lake is open and only 18 miles South of Flagstaff with decent cell. Prepare for cattle and Elk!

Yes. one of many perfect spots in the mountains of AZ. I had not seen this thread, and when I did I was hesitant to respond as I did not know how many areas had been destroyed by forest fires since I was last out there. So Dejoha was your best bet. But if ever out there again, look into Hart Prairie Road( forest service road 151) . On the west and NW side of the San Francisco Peaks(Humphrey's Peak), all NW of Flagstaff just a few miles. Or on the east side of the peaks, Lockett Meadow. https://www.arizonahighways.com/expl...dow-campground
