So far away, yet so close.

A train ride + hiking would be fun!

The Australian bush, a 60-minute train ride from Sydney

Not if you have to stand after a grueling all day hike under a sweltering sun. Also not pleasant if you do find a seat but you stink after a three day trip.

Of course, it's much better to go by train

Well, of course the train is better, I have a lot of experience traveling by train. I often take the train from Melbourne to Sydney to visit my old friends. We have a very good time together. I recently visited another continent, Europe to be exact, for the first time. I flew there alone to visit my grandparents, who live in Bavaria, but I landed at the airport in Berlin. I didn't know how to get to them, so I looked online for db auskunft train tickets. I found a direct flight to Bavaria, I was very happy. When I got there, it was the first time I had seen my grandparents in 10 years. I can't tell you how happy I was to see them in person.
