Greetings From Eastern PA
Hi All,
First time poster, long time reader. I never thought it would happen to me....
Trying to Hang again. Last time I was too tall or the hammock was too short. I am still too tall, but I have a much longer hammock (11-footer).
It ain't easy being circus tall (6'7"). Backpacker for 10 years. Hiked all of PA AT ...every rock covered inch.
I am here to stand on the shoulders of giants (kinda sorta)

I have always enjoy Pinchot Trail. Many camp sites along Choke Creek. Beaver damns, fern meadows, blueberry bushes, Rhododendrons and Choke Creek Falls are just a few of the highlights. it is my favorite lazy 3 day hike.Originally Posted by ChammockGuy

Having hiked the entire PA AT, would you say the allentown area of the trail is good for a day hike?
