Old guy from Upper Peninsula of Michigan

Just getting back into backpacking after 40 years. Have a son and SIL that wanted to back pack so figured Id better get on it before I get too old. Tried tenting but its too painful on the shoulders and hips, so going hammock. Gotta say that things sure have changed since 50 lb packs and carrying cans of Dintymore stew lol.

Welcome to Hammock Forums. You live in a beautiful part of the US. Got family in Engadine so get up that way often.
