I guess, at your age, cougars would be too much to ask for.

I like the reverse digits; then I'm 5! My wife says that's my mental age anyway. I'm not a wise old man, for I have relatively young children. I may never see my grandkids, but I'm hopeful to see my kids grow up...

50 is a tough number for a little redheaded guy that does'nt take loosing well. I'm now loosing my grasp on mtb racing, and on adv racing. ****.

So, I'm transitioning for the long haul. More time outside enjoying things, less time training. Pulled my stuff back out of the closet, and bought myself a hammock.

    It's been downhill ever since!

I love the freedom of camping in rough terrain, and I sleep better than any night I ever had in a tent. And I made it to my first hangout last November. It won't be my last. Got a new hammock in last week. Guess I'm truely a convert!

I too find it so much easier to sleep in a hammock than the ground. I never before was able to turn back over and go back to sleep in the mornings. Guess I could be 35 in a few months if I reverse digits. I better wait another year if I want a chance of fooling anyone.

    Well,
guess I have the right to post on this thread and not get in trouble. I am choosing to reverse the numbers and that makes me 25!
And I am sorry, but yes the ginger that lives in N. Minnesota is ugly and does have funky hair to go with the looks. So sorry, but it just had to be said Shug. But that is ok, we still accept into the gang of old geezers...well at least for the most part, just don't have the camera on us if we take off our hat.

All of this old people talk reminded me of an Olde' Irish" blessing, now if I could only remember how it goes...oh yeah..

May you have the hindsight to see where you have been.
May you have the foresight to see where you are going.
And more importantly, may you have the insight to know when you have gone too far.

And finally...everybody knows that all of the olde guys know all of the tricks!

I'll be 54 in July. At the risk of being repetitive, what I notice the most is being able to lay there in the mornings. The ground hurt so much, when I woke up, I had to get up. That just ain't so any more.
