It puts the Underquilt on it's hammock ... It does this whenever it gets cold
51 this August...guess that makes me one of the young guns in the old guy bracket! I had just about had it with ground camping until is stumbled on to this site. It has renewed my vigor for camping! My knees and shoulders have much less of a problem now that I'm off the ground.
Be 52 in May. Still feel pretty good. Kinda disappointed in my hair.
As I age I am slowly learning to accept my ugly. But I am wiser. And I have more money. I flash my credit card and awesome credit rating on smart-alec young punks with good hair and bad skin.......
I just wet myself.

If I reverse the numbers I'll still be the same age, 55.
Some times I feel like my age should be 550 & then I go hiking & feel 5.5 !
When you have a backpack on, no matter where you are, you’re home.
PAIN is INEVITABLE. MISERY is OPTIONAL.
57 and looking forward to my first season off the ground. Sleeping on the ground has made for some awfully long nights.
I will be 54 in a few weeks. A hammock is great for my back and hips. In the BWCA there is a average soil depth of a few inches. It is all rock and roots that poke through my tent floor and into my back.
