15 vs 20D for inner layer? WB

Pretty set on buying a WB Diamondback once I have a little more spare cash so I'm doing some research while I wait. I am definitely going with 20D for the shell and foot box but I'm still undecided on the inner material. Is there any benefit to using 15D other than weight savings? Besides the fact that it's the only one that comes in autumn orange ofc lol. How much weight savings are we talking using 15 instead of 20 for inner?

For the amount of material involved I would be surprised if the difference was more than an ounce or two at the most.

Per their website about a half-ounce. Maybe some added breathability with15d vs 20d.

I never once considered breathability, would that be beneficial for an inner layer?

At night regardless of how cold it is, you will perspire some moisture. You want the TQ to allow as much of that moisture to pass thru the TQ so it does not build up / collect in the TQ and freeze and or get your insulation wet.

I would consider packability and durability (along with the aforementioned breathability) ahead of the negligible weight savings.
