Oh man now I'm starting to worry about my 40* Incubator. Santa ordered it @5 weeks lead time but it hasn't shipped so far and I'm up in Canada. God knows what that means for shipping times. Do you guys have any recent experience with shipments to Canada, just so I can have an idea?

We use DHL Express International to ship outside the US. They've been fantastic. I haven't seen any delays or anything like that. It's funny, but they typically deliver packages faster than our post office does here in the States. Once your order ships, you'll likely get it in 2-3 days.

So why use USPS over UPS or Fedex? I dunno about the sending side of those, other than returns. Does UPS/Fedex cost more for package delivery over USPS?

Thanks Grisnakh! That is awesome to hear. So just hoping the little elves finish sewing soon then Looking forward to combining my Incubator with my Trail Winder for winter and using the incubator in spring/summer/fall.

First time I get something shipped via DHL here so I don't know how they handle it. I can say for international (i.e. US to Canada) UPS kinda sucks. They take an extra $10 for the "privilege" to charge me duty/taxes and thanks to covid they don't actually do COD any longer. But they don't tell you in advance. They only call you on the day their tracking tells you the package is supposed to arrive via a call. Depending on volume I suppose their automated system might call you at 1600 hours that you should've paid your duty for them to put the package on a truck that morning. So you're basically adding an automatic extra day to shipping. And there's not much a shipper like HG can do about it except to warn customers to contact UPS as soon as tracking shows that the package has cleared customs in the hopes that they already know what the amount is so that they will let you pay it before the decision is made whether to put it on a delivery truck in the morning or not.

We primarily use USPS because the shipping cost is quite a bit lower than UPS or FedEx when shipping a larger package that's light.

congrats....mine along with an order from LiteAF was supposed to be delivered yesterday also but USPS decided I haven't waited long enough for my quilts and delayed both my orders. neither orders hasn't even made it to my state yet, so looks like they are going on 3 weeks to deliver my package from HG that normally takes 3-4 days.

it would be nice if you offered the buyer the choice between USPS and UPS/FedEx because I would be willing to pay a little extra to keep my packages out of USPS' hands
