My Hammock Camp setup

Hello all.

It's now some 8 + years I been using my hammock setup, same hammock, same quilts, same tarps. Not changed a thing is many years.

I use a Warbonnet Blackbird hammock. Warbonnet SuperFly, Whoopie Slings, Warbonnet underquilt, Hammock Gear top quilt and a Hammock Gear Cuben tarp.

Using this setup for so many years, I've picked up some tips that you beginners may find useful.

I'm interested in know How does my old setup compare to today?

Also interested what you all think of my setup and advice compared to today's offerings.

I been using this particular setup in my video for a long time now. Keen seeing what progression has been made over the years.

Great spot! Nothing wrong with using old gear! I routinely use woodworking tools and cast iron cookware well over 100 years old.

Phil, please take this as constructive criticism....Anyone that puts themselves out there into YouTube's glare is a brave individual to start with!
I felt like I was intruding into someone's befuddled rushed mind and the longer the video went on the more I skipped through so I went back over again to be fair. Edit with a blunt non judgmental friend and I think it would be more precise, informative and engaging which would inturn get more thumbs up and views.
As a Qlder I'd like to see more of where you are set up in future.
As to your set up.. it still works fine in today's world and most importantly it looks like it works for you. I went from prusiks to tantos for tarp centering but not 100% happy yet.
