Cool Yet another AMAZING eBay deal !!!!!

I've been thinking about getting a 20° 'Bator for a while now to go with my 20° Burrow and so I don't have to use my -10° at such high temps. To achieve this, I've saved quite a few searches on ebay to notify me if one is put up for sale/auction , as well as continually checking the f/s section here so I can save money if at all possible. My eBay searches just paid off, and a few minutes ago I was notified that a 20° Econ Incubator custom (long +4) , was up for auction and had a buy it now price of $190! Knowing that it costs $210 new, I couldn't pass it up and now have a matching 20° set ! Now I just need a 40° Burrow to go with the 40° Phoenix that I also got off of eBay and I'll have -10°, +20° & +40° sets.

I had a 40° Econ Burrow zip standard/standard for a while, but sold it not too long ago to potentially replace it with a +2oz, short or custom short length. I've also got a DIY 40° and the 40° DD Hammocks TQ that are both synthetic which I use quite a bit with my 40° Trailwinder UQ or 30° Snugpak UQ since I'm right in the water where humidity, dew and precipitation are a factor year round. Due to that I've only really used down quilts below 40° so I'm on the fence about getting another 40° Burrow. I got the 40° Phoenix to save pack space & weight over my synthetic UQ's and bc I can use my UQP when necessary. I really could do without the +4oz in this new quilt, +2 maybe to help mitigate the inevitable loss of loft I always get here, but +4 oz is a little much for me I think since I do have a UQP and the minus 10° for when it's under 20°. The long length is also a little much as I'm only 5'7, but it won't hurt anything so it's not really a big deal. I would consider a trade for a +2oz standard length I think, but I will definitely be using this quilt quite a bit regardless.

Here are 2 of the pics from the eBay post, let me know what you think..... Do you use down 4 / 5 seasons or just below a certain temp ? What temps are your quilt sets? Do you add an oz. or 2 to help with loft like me, or is the stock amount enough? What deals have you gotten recently? ~Chesapeake

Down, year round. Econ 40/20 sets. Standard fill. Bought 'em all straight from HG on their sales...some I got 10% off, others 15%.

I should have clarified, that does sound pretty stupid doesn't it?lol. I meant to make a distinction between " average" winter temps and just the coldest part of the year or " deep winter" as some might say. On average it will be between 20°- 30° here for most of the winter, but we often get a sustained arctic blast that could last as 2 or 3 weeks with temps as low as 0° or below. That's what I meant by a 5th season lol.
