    I'm 6'7 260ish. I have a wide body Chameleon that's pretty darn comfortable.

I'm 6'2" and currently 255lb hoping to get down to 230lb at some point. Shaggy and Immortalviking, did you go with a double layer or single on the wide? I was looking at getting a wide myself but was torn between a single or double layer at my current weight. Also, what fabric did you pick?

I got mine on the Kickstarter. Single layer was the only option. It's Hexon. I don't think I had a choice there either back then. Not complaining. It's one of my most comfortable hammocks.

I have a single layer 1.6 Hexon standard Half-Zipped (not quite a Chameleon, but can use some of the accessories). I'm 6'1" about 260 and find it very comfortable. Just the right amount of stretch for me.

    Cool

I’m a new hammocker and just received my wide Chameleon.

    I’m 6’ 02” (187 cm) tall and 240 lbs (109kg) and I Ordered the double layer.

While I’ve been in a shorter hammock, I was able to fit but it felt tight.

I’ve set up the wide chameleon 5 times now and while I still haven’t found my lay direction, I can say that it is roomy and comfortable. I know it was overkill, but I ordered the double layer and there is no stretch in the fabric that I can discern.

Again, I’m totally new at this but I really believe I made a good choice.

I went with single layer. Its a 'softer' lay than my double layer XLC which is a double layer.

I've had a Chameleon Wide for a few years now. 6 feet and 230 lbs. It works well and is very comfortable. I do get some calf ridge but use a pillow under my knees to compensate. I went kayak camping last week and slept 11 hours in the thing

I find the ridgeline organizer and the side sling are my favorite options. I also have the sidecar and use it to hold my topquilt out of the way when I'm not using it.

I am 6'4" 300lbs. I have a double layer wide chameleon and it is by far my most comfortable hammock. I have the side car and side sling which are great for keeping extra clothes and your top quilt. I have broad shoulders and am a side sleeper. I can sleep on my back without shoulder squeeze or get partially on my side and sleep comfortably.
