Just found this POMOLY table. About comparably priced to the Schwarze Biene. No idea where it's based, so the shipping cost might also be comparably painful. But it's got more flexibility in how to deploy it. (And therefore maybe less strength? How much weight are we asking either to bear?)

Nice, Lonewolf has a video on this. Free shipping at the moment (pre-order discount). Although, I can deal with $4.25 for shipping. I think I might pull the trigger. Thanks!

Looks really cool, but at over 2 lbs I’ can’t image lugging it on a backpacking trip, and I’m not a big gram weenie (at least not yet). I’d prob only use that for car camping. At that point, I’d probably just use a bigger (and cheaper) table with 4 legs.

I may be late to the conversation but for those that aren't as weight conscious I use a Trail table at 26 oz for casual camping and it makes a world of difference.

    https://www.walmart.com/ip/Ozark-Tra...663665&veh=sem

It makes a great nightstand, prep table, game table etc... Nothing has to go on the ground and it has cup holders which keep accidental spills down to a minimum.
