It makes a great nightstand, prep table, game table etc... Nothing has to go on the ground and it has cup holders which keep accidental spills down to a minimum.
I have two older model Ozark Trail tables that fold up like the popular camp chairs that people use car camping or in their back yards. Similar to this:

Although my cutting board table isn't as sturdy, I like that it's light weight. The biggest advantage of the heavier table was that I put my pack on it at night.

My cutting board table is no where near as nice looking as the German version in this thread, but I like the $7 price tag of the DIY job.

Here's a Pomoly in use in a city park. Works great and light enough to carry everywhere on the trikes.

I have a wooden one like that at the family lake camp. I love it. However, it's not something I would want to backpack with.

I’ve been using this which I really like, only weighs a few oz. That aluminum
    table looks amazing.

If you're not worried about weight or you don't mind carrying another 29 ounces, one of these might be the ticket. You can get them in various sizes and heights from Amazon. I've had one larger than the one in this video for years for camping. It should be somewhat heat resistant unless you get it so hot that it melts the plastic on the legs.

    Aluminum folding table.

If you're considering ordering the Pomoly gimbal table, as I did, be aware that you apparently need to provide alot of lead time.
Order placed 10/17, tracking number rec'd by DHL 10/20, no movement as of 10/23. Granted it's coming from Hong Kong w/ free shipping. Just thought I'd pass my experience along.
