It makes a great nightstand, prep table, game table etc... Nothing has to go on the ground and it has cup holders which keep accidental spills down to a minimum.
I have two older model Ozark Trail tables that fold up like the popular camp chairs that people use car camping or in their back yards. Similar to this:

Although my cutting board table isn't as sturdy, I like that it's light weight. The biggest advantage of the heavier table was that I put my pack on it at night.

My cutting board table is no where near as nice looking as the German version in this thread, but I like the $7 price tag of the DIY job.
