Yes, it scared me, shook the floor for several seconds.
I know, it’s nothing compared to what our west coast cousins get and have got used to.
Was anybody in this radius in a hammock?
Could you feel earthquake while in your hammock?
Carol King “I feel the earth move under my feet”
    Elvis “I’m all shook up”
Would like to see video of ant colony during and after earthquake.
After getting a bit scared, they probably keep on with their business.
Maybe a song plays in their head and they keep up with the beat...
    Don’t know...

Never felt a thing here but my daughter in Concord, NC felt it. She lives about 20 minutes up the road from me.

Would have liked to have been on the highlands to see if the ponies sensed the quake before it happened. Pretty common for animals to know something is about to happen. One news account said a man in/around Sparta saw a bunch of deer running just before he felt the shock(s).

Speaking of the usual suspects, I can't remember the last time I saw you slowhike; looking forward to telling you the same old tall tales and short stories you probably heard a thousand times before.
