    Draumr & an underquilt

Not sure where to exactly post this,...here we go. I have an UGQ full length under quilt, and I wonder if it could somehow be adapted to hang under a Draumr XL? Since their mattress is only rated to about 25f, I wonder if these 2 items could be paired together....? Thanks, Tom

    Watching this, interested.
If you prepare for failure you will probably succeed.

I goofed with hanging one on. Gotta mess about with the UQ to get it snugged up.
Did not sleep overnight with UQ and pad.
No pictures or video I'm afraid

I fiddled briefly with mine as well, but was mostly looking at a pod style, to fit over the entire footbox

didn't get too serious, as I've got the synmat, which is good to -25

Anyone ever tried rigging one perpendicular? Haha. This might sound wacky, but laying on my back, my arms have a tendency to want to lay at my sides, and being a larger fellow, that means they’re not laying on that 25” wide pad. I thought if I could rig something underneath from side to side it could insulate my arms if they end up off the pad.

I’ll probably experiment with quilts I have, but figured I’d see if anyone else had ever had this issue.

    yeah, sorta

what I've done is just a wool blanket, inside the draumr, on top of the pad, but spread out to cover the wings.

generally not worrying about grams during the weather I'd do this.

Thanks for the idea! I’ve been interested in adding a wool blanket to my gear for a couple years now... I think it’s time to do it
