Hi all
Im planning a Knoydart walk soon, likely Glenfinnan to Inverie. I know there are bothies along the way (nice, social, but I don’t go to the wilds to listen to folk snoring!) But what about the lie of the land? I expect it to be fairly treeless and not hammockable, from having hiked around Torridon/Applecross etc — But is that right? Has anyone hammocked in the Knoydart area, and was it easy to find trees/ the right kind of trees — ie not jammed together plantation pines etc?

Thanks for any advice
