Alright! Not sure how to describe the taper but I am 6'2" and 250lbs so bigger torso and legs. The foot box has a nice amount of room and I never feel cramped even though it does taper down. It is the King model so there is a lot of quilt up top to work with and it has never been a problem for me having plenty to wrap around or lay across me. It is quite nice.
