Are there a lot of places to sleep in a hammock in this park?

I chatted with Rerun a little while back, he said there are plenty of places to hang in the wilderness sites.

Absolutely. I'll try linking in some photos I shot from a December trip there. These are on my Instagram page. There may be a few more near these if you scroll backwards or forwards datewise through my posts there.

I just thru-hiked the whole Pine Mountain Trail. I went off trail to check out most of the sites, not just the ones I was gonna use. Pretty much all of them have places to hang, and the park is hang-friendly (as long as you have straps). Some of the sites are larger and more private than others though. Also, the quality and reliability of water varies too. The PMTA is a great resource for m,ore info (https://www.pinemountaintrail.org/si...criptions.html).

Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can.
    Pursuing it with eager feet
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say."

Which end did you start at and which campsites did you spend the night? I am hoping to do the through hike in December. Thanks
