Glad that the video could serve as inspiration! It isn't easy heading down or up but totally worth it. You gotta do it at least once!

Thanks geronimo! Working my way to be a professional videographer one new YouTube subscriber at a time

Jokes aside, this is just a hobby that I enjoy. I love backpacking and making these videos let me share my trips with my parents, inspire others and show these beautiful places to the world.

Layne - I've enjoyed your trips (Videos) as well, I Just retired and now have a few trips in mind since I have a little more time.
A few of us are looking at going to Brown Mt or the Wiseman view area for some camping/hiking in hopes to see the "Brown Mountain Lights".
Looking at early Oct [EARLY] or anytime we can get together. I may have to try this route sometime as well. Good job! Make No MooseTake about it. Lol

Thanks Moose, appreciate it! Hope you get to take advantage of your extra time to get out on some trips.

The Brown Mountain Lights are definitely an interesting phenomenon. The Highland Guide to the NC Mountains says that Indians reported seeing them as far back as the 1200s.

I lol’d at moosetake, good stuff. Hoping to see a Moose when I head back to Yellowstone in a couple weeks.
