Zing It!, Lash It!, Reflect It!

zing it is my favorite. I've had the same line on my older tarp going on 5 years with no problems yet.

I like the reflect it for nighttime as I tend to trip over everything. For my setup I bungied fleas to my tarp and leave the reflect it tied to my stakes. Works great and makes setup and take down fast and easy.
I unhook from flea, pull stake and wind the line around the stake before I put it in a simple carry bag. My tarp gets to hang flat while i roll up and stow the stakes/lines making for easy cleanoff. plus no more knotting of my lines.

How badly you need reflective lines also depends on whom you’re camping with — I mostly camp with scouts, and I’d have neon lights on my lines if I could get away with it. I do have to agree that the reflective materials woven into a lot of reflective guy lines is annoying, though.

I wish Lawson made something a little thinner that would work with Dutch bling because I really like the glow wire. I just ordered some reflective 1.7 dyneema core cord from Gossamer Gear to see how it works. I was looking for something blue and stumbled across it.

My preference is Glow in the Dark larks-headed on the Beastie Rings of the tarp. The selfie is from the Glow-In-The-Dark illumination

The Easton Aluminum stakes have 6-feet of Zing-It attached with a spliced loop, and the other end is a Wasp with the end bury. The line is secured about the stake and to deploy, hold the stake by the Anvil Head, and let the Ringworm do the work; it slides right off. WIN_20200717_22_43_50_Pro.jpg

The Tarp is deployed using Nite-Ize Aluminum Micro S-Biners, which are wrapped around the trees and loosely secured with the Wasps. Then grab the snakeskin and clip the S-Biners to the ridgeline Beastie rings and tension with the Wasps.

The extra line is secured inside the Green Latex bicycle tubes in case of a River Trip down the Big Bend Rio Grand to shelter amongst the boulders on the river. You won't find any trees there.
