    Central American Hanging Tent Hostel

Hello everyone. New here and to camping in general. Was looking at the glamping experience and want to start a hanging tent hostel in Nicaragua. I have been surfing the net for pictures and ideas and this is what I have come up with so far. Would love to hear from experienced campers where I am going wrong and/or what could be done better.
I am inclined to follow the triangle setup for stability. I will be in a forest so trees are not a problem. Could be a 4 point anchor system.
Has to be very flat and rigid, will put normal matress in the tent.
Material must be breathable and mosquito netting is a must. A large waterproof tarp will hang above.
One and two person set ups.
Everything made from scratch, unless I can find suitable cheap tents to adapt.

So what I am looking for are templates or plans on how to stitch together these type hanging tents.

Any help is welcome as is a push in the right direction.

    Stay safe everyone.

    Serge

I’m not sure of laws there, you can consider insurance,
in case of your customers not having happy face.
Four legged predators, two legged predators, and guests
getting drunk and falling out of tree onto ground.
And sometimes young men and kids will play, and
end up falling onto ground. Insurance, while costly
can help protect your investments and your personal
    property.
If you make something really nice, with a good experience
for your customers, then there might be good repeat
    business. Good luck!

Thanks for your reply. Hadn´t given any thought on insurance yet, Will look into this but can tell you right now it is nothing compared to the US. Also courts would throw out cases like falling out of a tent when drunk, only in the US could you try something like that. What has me most worried is the type of materials to use in the tropics. It goes from severly hot and dry to very humid with tropical rain.
I will see on keeping it as close to the ground as posible.
    Thanks again.

And where did you get the idea for a hanging tent? There are only a couple on the market (Tentsile comes to mind).

These hanging tents put tremendous stress on the trees. And finding three trees properly spaced is gonna be a constant problem even for one hammock tent (forget a hammock tent hostel).

RipStopByTheRoll has both waterproof and breathable fabrics in a wide variety of weights and colors
Also, other suppliers have more industrial weight fabrics. I’d stay with synthetics rather than cottons,
that might mildew and get black spots that are tough to wash clean. For durability, get heavier fabrics.

Are you going to sew your own, hire seamstress, or get an experienced tent maker to build your tree
    house escapes?
    Regardless, Good Luck!
