I feel like a complete noob.

I just got my new HG Journey and it has line lock s instead of D rings. The problem is I don't see how they work for a ridge line. I can see how they work for guy lines, but the ridge line has me perplexed.

Ridgeline line locks are used in the same manner as guy lines.
Attach split Ridgeline cordage to tree using your favorite method. (girth hitched, LoopAlien, Dutch Hook, or any other bling, run line to Ridgeline line lock, both ends, center tarp by tightening/adjusting each end. If using Zing-it/Lash-it, secure with a slippery half hitch

I was using a continuous ridge line.
Never used a split line before. I tried it tonight it worked great. Thanks
