I never really used a GE hammock when I started with hammocks. I've been using a 90 degree or bridge hammock for 5 years or so, but lets say I'm GE curious. Since I doubt I'll like it as much as I like my 90 Degree, I'm also cheap. And, I'm a bit of a high maintenance sleeper. It's gotta work, and be comfortable. I can't fuss with a pad moving around the place.
Enter the Ridge outdoors hammock, which arrived on my doorstep $49 later, and its really comfortable. Now, the insulation piece. Yep, a pad sucks in a gathered end hammock. I'm looking for the, uhh, Ridge Outdoors, version of an underquilt. Cheap, yet high enough quality to feel like it "works". It's clear where the corners were cut on the Ridge to keep it at the pricepoint, but it seems like the basics are there. I need that in an UQ if it exists. Does it? Of course, if I feel like I can make the investment in a better set up down the line, I'd have no problem laying down the big bucks for the good stuff.
Thanks
