    It's time for Dutch to weigh in.Some matierials absorb more water than others I think.I'm taking my Dutch Xenon Hex tarp 11 footer and the Dutch Hexon 1.1 side zip hammock to the Ocmulgee River Trail next weekend..Hoping it rains all night too.

    I can’t tell from your photo, but I have seen moisture condense on the underside of tarps that are low to the ground after the ground saturates, especially with vegetation on the ground. Plants continue to respire moisture into the air over night, and if the air is sufficiently juicy, and the tarp is cool enough, moisture will condense on all sides.

    Definitly had condensation on the tarp when I hung at my in-laws over labor day weekend. But I saw it was going to be in the 50s I had too.
