So I hung my Chameleon yesterday and noticed a few small holes in the bug net I'm thinking tenacious tape on both side for the repair. Thoughts or suggestions for this course of action?

I'd just sew it up with some polyester thread.

I did both sides, then did the edges of the tape with a little gorilla glue. Overkill? Oh yeah.

Wow! 2 options in under a minute!
Between the trees and above the ground.
This would be a perfect application for darning.
These work great- https://www.amazon.com/Tenacious-Pat.../dp/B07Y8YKZXM
either darn them or hand stitch a small piece of net over them.
can't tell if you used the tenacious tape mesh patches, or just regular tenacious tape.. the former has worked well for me in the past! not the cheapest option, for sure - I'd go with darning - but works in a pinch.
One thing about these no-see-um holes/tears is that there's nothing that will make them look like new again so IMO just put the least effort into making it serviceable and look at it as burnishing your trail cred or fodder for campfire stories.
