Looked all around the RBTR site today. What have you head about the 2.2 HEX70 XL in terms of comfort? They've got some in super wide rolls (74") and it is definitely strong enough.

Yep for total ease and not too expensive get some polyester straps and Beetle buckles.

I'd like to forgo the slap straps, so I may do half of this. I really like knots

Regarding Dyneema straps, I've heard people say that they can bunch up on themselves and not lay flat on the tree. Have you seen that be an issue?

This has been the case for me. The Dyneema webbing is much thinner than polyester, more like ribbon material. I just unbunch it the best I can to maximize surface area on the tree.
