I am going to be ordering material from Rip Stop by the Roll and they are out of stock of nylon grosgrain in the 2 sizes I would like: 1/2" and 3/4". But they do have Venom UHMWPE Pack webbing in those sizes. Can anyone confirm that this material will work fine for tarp tieouts?
Other places have the nylon grosgrain but I don't want to pay another shipping charge for a little bit of grosgrain.
I don't see why not.
You can probably find grosgrain at a local Joann fabric or Walmart. It's a pretty common item.
I *think* the pack webbing would work. It may be overkill for tarp tie-outs, but if you can't get grosgrain, then what heck, might as well.
The 1/2inch just came back in stock, if you haven't ordered yet.
