I am thinking about upgrading my wife to a 12' palace and I was wondering what people use for mesh sleeves. I have a 11' palace and have not been happy with the one piece sleeve from HG.

What about the HG, one piece, mesh sleeve causes unhappiness?
I have older two piece HH snake skins, Some two piece mesh snake skins, and some one piece 13 ft snakeskins for 13 ft Ridge Runner tarps. They all work. But I’ve limited the nylon skins to the day hike tarp because I found they were a bear to dry once slid on a wet tarp.
If your’s in one piece, you don’t have the “bubble in the middle” problem. What issue are you trying to solve with a different skin?
In order to see what few have seen, you must go where few have gone. And DO what few have done.
I found the HG sleeve to be pretty tight for my HG standard tarp with doors, I can imagine how tough it would be fitting a Palace in there. I would look at Mountain Goat Sewing. You might also try Simply Light Designs. Jared offer a wide sleeve, but I have never tried one from him.

You can ask HG to make two-piece DCF snakeskins for your Palace. That's what I have, and I've had no problems with them. This supposed bubble lasts for maybe 20 seconds so it's a non-issue for me.

I have an 11' Palace and agree the mesh is a bit tight to pull over all that fabric.. especially compared to how easy it is over a Standard without doors.
I've long given up on the two piece skins. Stuffing the overflow of fabric created by the center bubble is more headache than I want or need. Why hassle with that when the single skin is such a simple solution.
I haven't used my Palace in a few months but will likely DIY a wider skin for it before cooler weather comes.
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

The Dutchware mesh tarp single sleeve is 12'6'. I bought one for an 11' WB Superfly and it fits just fine. However, silpoly is more compact than DCF when packed. It's not tight in the sleeve, but it does fill the volume.
