My answer is "not sure but probably yes".My feet sorta go right and my head goes left but I suppose they are slightly higher than my head but sometimes I roll on my side and sleep fetal position I think but then again I am asleep so I can't say I really know!

I dont know about actual foot to head. I hang the hammock foot end about 18 to 20 inches higher. I climb in and test the ridgeline. I adjust the ends until the ridge tension is where I know I get a good comfortable hang. And then to quote Driscoll Darlin, 'I jump in and hang on' and drift off to the land of nod. I never really analyze my position. Throw my butt in the low point of the hammock and fall back. Only issue I notice is if I dont stay hydrated, I'll notice a cramp on the right leg that's against the hammock. Had a dvt bloodclot in that leg so I dont know if it's related. Staying hydrated seems to eliminate the issue.

I always hang the foot end higher. Once in, gravity takes over and I settle to the lowest point, which is pretty much level. So.. no, I don't sleep with my feet higher.

The exception to that was in a hammock that was made of Airweave 1.8. Comfy, and softer than anything I have tried but nearly impossible to move around because of the fabric had a cottony feel. Where you ended up when you got is where you stayed....
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

Yep. I do my feet higher than my head, too. Early on (too many years ago to count, now), I fought with gravity, trying to have my head higher. I'd always slide and end up uncomfortable. When I switched to feet higher, everything seemed to settle. But, this is a "hang your own hang" thang! Fiddling is a big part of the fun!

Post some pics, so we can watch your setup evolve as you dial it all in!
