I got interested in camping hammocks after I retired. I saw some ENO hammocks in REI and attended an intro to hammocks training at my local REI store. I started researching them before I bought and started with a Hennessy. I saw it as a quick setup way to camp out. I enjoy the outdoors and decided this would be an economical way to spend some time outdoors and spend a few nights when I go fly fishing, hiking, or biking in Pennsylvania.
