I’ve been using my homemade off the wall suspension, called S and D.
    Cons:
    Hard to make
Not as fast as any other rigging during setup.
    Pros:
    Lightweight but not ultralight.
Durable, no damage to strap etc.
    GarnaUteed to never slip.
    GarnaUteed to never jam.

Uses Dutch’s Spyder DaisyChain straps with interwoven loops every three inches.
And a short length of amsteel larksheaded to hammock ends.
There are four triple diamond knots on ends of short length of amsteel.
These knots are used as buttons or toggles. They go one after another through the same loop
in Daisy Chain strap, from opposite sides.
You could hang around off one triple diamond knot, but with two passing each other in
opposite directions, it makes it extremely unlikely that either one would get through
with the other wanting to pass in same tight spot. Like a traffic jam or gridlock.

Someday I’ll make a video, but no one is likely to use it because there are plenty of
other good suspensions that are faster, easier, lighter.

Knot many suspensions out there that don’t use either
hardware or knots! Knots are tied One Time, when suspension is crafted.
Zero knots in the piney woods!

No lies were crafted in this post...
    It’s otherwise perfect...

1″ UHMWPE webbing, with marlin spike hitch with titanium toggle. 1/8 whoopies on the knot, not on the toggle (thanks, Shug) titanium dutch clip to a continuous loop on my hammock. Easy to adjust to get it just right.
