It’s a nice area. I am thinking I need a trip combing Big Creek, Cataloochee, Mt Sterling and what not. Probably easier to do a loop.

It’s a nice section - lots of views. And thanks for the note on my wife. She is doing ok considering it was all pretty traumatic.

Those are views !! Nice to see some horizon without human impact. Seems you have the same backpack as me, but somehow I miss the camo tarp. And looks nice in the forest !

Amazing trip report and stunning pictures.
Your report is full of useful information for someone to follow in your footsteps.
Where you camped, mileages, water sources... great job.

Thanks Infrastellar. I always enjoy your pics. The majority of the time I was alone but some of the pics I had to crop out the people - it might look like this behind me.

I have you to thank for the inspiration for putting the info together - mileages, water, etc. It really helped to have your data for the Bartram when I forgot my phone charging cable.
Course this time I did all the hard work putting it together, printed it out, and promptly left it at home. Ha.

Still nice, we dont have such wide panoramas without village, antena, tower, or even fabric chimney. And those people seem to enjoy as well

Glad I could help, but you definitely did the hard work so we could enjoy the fruit of your labor.
