Was it Bufo lake that you stayed on with the peninsula?

If so, that is one of my favorite sites ever. I hung as close to the water as I could when I was there. Not far from the fire ring. I did Isle Royal and reminded me of some of the islands you can camp on and just surrounded by water. Very unique little lake and peninsula site.

No, sadly that campsite was destroyed with the 2018 flood. The entire peninsula is under water now

I really enjoyed this video Shug.
It was a beautiful place to camp there right on the water.
I’ve spent some time in a hammock during a thunderstorm. If you have no place to be and the ability to make coffee, that’s a great place to be.
There is no bad weather, just bad gear.
    And those pancakes looked amazing.
    Yeah, I’m doing that.

Thankee. Just back from a 2 nighter in BWCA. Day one was a 51º rain all day. Chilly! Nice when I got dry and hung up.
