Hi all - been on the hammockcamping sub reddit for a bit, but new here on HF.
Just recently upgraded from a eno to a SLD trail lair (just got it this week!) and am testing out my setup. I have straps with loops on the end, whoopie slings with whoopie hooks. I'm using a larks head on the fixed loop of the sling into the strap, then attaching the hook to the continuous loop on the hammock, but I'm wondering about my ridge line. One option is just to have it hang on the continuous loop and the other option is to attach it to the whoopie sling or the hook along with the continuous loop which creates more tension.
have photo examples below - I'm kind of inclined to attach to the whoopie sling but it makes the ridgeline pretty tight when I'm in the hammock.
sorry if this has been answered, did some searching and couldn't find this exact question.
