It's worth noting, though, that with this method you don't necessarily have to un-do the whole bundle when setting up. The cord will just easily pull out from the center; a few loops let out usually won't loosen the bundle wrap so much, and it can just dangle. More line taken out will cause the bundle to unravel but that's fine when re-doing it is so easy.

Also like others, I haven't found a better way to deal with Kevlar straps than flat folding. It's a bit tedious but results in the smallest package. Also very easy to shake 'em out when setting up.

I roll up the guy-out lines in the sides of the tarp. I use 3 little velcro straps to hold the roll together, then fold that up.

I tried a few times to wrap the CRL around the bundled-up tarp, but the lines always got tangled, especially with the Dutch Hook end.
I finish the same way cougarmeat does.. tucking a bite under the last wrap.

When it's time to undo the line (these are my split ridge lines) I tug the tail of the bite and the whole thing unravels tangle-free.

As mentioned above, I often pull the working end to release a short length and then just snug up the bite to keep it all from unraveling.

Kevlar.. once my rig is down, I just run the kevlar over or around a branch to flatten it. Takes a half minute or less. Then fold in half, then half again and then roll the rest around four fingers keeping it flat.

Guy-outs and the standing length of the RL's just get rolled into the tarp before the skin goes on.

I even figure-8 my tree straps. It's not as compact as it could be, but it's not too bad.

Like many have suggested, I keep my ground lines connected to my tarp and just roll them into my tarp before the mesh snake skin slides on. I then fold my tarp over itself several times and wrap my split ridge lines around it creating a nice solid brick. DCF makes a nicer brick than Sil*.

My suspension gets flattened, at least the 8’ of tree end does, and folded several times with the last foot or so just wrapped around the folds and placed into a small mesh bag.

Tie about 8 inches of very light weight shock cord to the end of the line.Figure 8 wrap til you get to the shock cord which you wrap a few times around the bundle and put a bight into the last wrap. All my lines except the ridge line are attached to the tarp and I can't remember having a tangle issue on them.I have one tarp with shorter than average lines and dont do anything with them, just stuff into a sack.
