I finish the same way cougarmeat does.. tucking a bite under the last wrap.
When it's time to undo the line (these are my split ridge lines) I tug the tail of the bite and the whole thing unravels tangle-free.
As mentioned above, I often pull the working end to release a short length and then just snug up the bite to keep it all from unraveling.
Kevlar.. once my rig is down, I just run the kevlar over or around a branch to flatten it. Takes a half minute or less. Then fold in half, then half again and then roll the rest around four fingers keeping it flat.
Guy-outs and the standing length of the RL's just get rolled into the tarp before the skin goes on.
