Shaw, since You are Yates, enter any stove. If a wood stove wins, it will be a winner of wood stove division.
We will honor past and current alcohol stove champions: Peeeeetey, Gas, and reigning champ Hickery.
I will do my best to smoke y’all, while adhering to our honorable judge Tazmaniac’s three rules.
    Do not cheat,...too much.
    Safety first, no explosive fuels
    Friendly bets only,...$17Trillion limit

If there is enough interest we can have a jetboil type division.
No prizes awarded for this last division—just bragging rights!

To make it quick lets use fat pine. I have enough for both. Same wood different stoves. Why not?

Only thing,,,It is nasty on the pots. Bring something that you are not particually proud of like maybe a tin can?

I'll have to dig up a tin can in that case.

I like using because I can use the free fuel laying on the ground. Only takes a handful of sticks to heat a half liter in about 10 minutes. Fast enough for most of my trips.
It also can be set to burn liquid or solid alcohol. I prefer the sticks so I'm not worrying about having enough alcohol or spilling it.
It is not the lightest but is versatile.

A distillery donated hand sanitizer to my dept. We started keeping O.J. on the truck.
