Phantom Grappler here, testing my ability to post and read posts
Earlier Early yesterday while on Hammock Forums, I get some sort of prompt to go on Tapatalk and then onto Hammock Forums (which I was already on just HF
I think I declined the prompt and proceeded to go to Yates Hang thread. But my entire screen turned dark grey making words hard to read—and no further screens would be shown and I was frozen out of HF
Probabably a year ago I was using TapaTalk to access Hammock Forums when there was a security problem-someone was trying to log into my account every thirty minutes as if they were me, but not from my phone. Hackers!
So I changed my TapaTalk password and my Hammock Forums password. Had trouble using Tapatalk to utilize Hammock Forums. So I deactivated Tapatalk app and just used Hammock Forums.
Until yesterday. I was frozen out again. So I reactivated my TapaTalk app and logged in with password and went onto Hammock Forums and logged in with Hammock Forums password.
Hoping hoping hoping all is ok
Phantom not tech savvy
I’m now at Yates Hang, having a blast.
Here’s hoping I’m logged back in and all is ok

Great to participate in this great event once again. Thanks PG for all the hard work you put into this to make it happen and we are grateful.. Good to see everyone once again and look forward to the next time that we gather once again.
Gear hung out to dry as we speak. Hot shower washed hair and life is GOOD for both of us.
Good to see new and old friends. I hope all Noobs are comfortable enough to return at any and all Yates Hangs. We are all grateful for the hard work and behind the scenes planning by our Old Pros.
Yates Hang would be radically downgraded without PappyAmos, Tazmaniac, and Peeeeetey.
And we can’t forget ShortBus and his dutch oven magic. Special Thanks to Shug for beautiful print reproductions of his paintings, and for our t-shirts .
You can go online and buy Shug’s prints and t-shirts and also online to get Hickery’s Hickery Brothers t-shirts. All top grade collectors edition artwork and creativity
Thank wooooooo Shug and Hickery.
Our prodigal son and fearless leader Myanc has returned to hang with us.
We had a Halloween visitation by The Maple King
We also had some great guests from Tarheel State Hangers. And some of us are going to camp with TSH at Falls Lake for Hangsgiving November 12 til November 15
Also pleasantly returning, Maytag and Janice
If I’ve skipped you or misspelled you trail name or said it wrong altogether, please forgive me, sometimes I forget your names, but never forget your faces
As host, I held back to give our campers a fair chance at “Purdy Boil” competition. It just would not look right if I put them in their place with superior firepower. Congratulations to Gas, Hickery, Son of Gas (Matt) on smoking everybody, including yours truly. Peeeeetey’s wife Deborah won our women’s division in alcohol stoves, and Shaw walked away from the field to capture first place in wood stove division.
Old Phantom noticing a pattern. These are the same hammock creatures, who have been whooping me in past years.
Some of our campers made conservative AirLand&Sea sandwiches while others made works of art, utilizing sandwich toppings from each of following categories Air: turkey, chicken, or egg!
Land: beef, pork, snake or toad frog!
Sea: shrimp, fish, anchovies, caviar, squid!
Their creative artwork was not for show-it was made to devour.
ShortBus, thank you-best fall off the bone ribs ever!
