SLOVAKIA: Storm hike at Tribec mountains

Hot, sunny, humid, wet, windy, rain, storm. 3 days hike with the children through some nice forests. Experienced a nice huge storm with ice, must say the equipment went through perfectly. A lot of water, but managed to make some fire anyway. Nice summer hike.

Looks like a great trip. Keep collecting kids and you will have your own boy/girl scout troop.

May I ask you what focal length are these pictures. I’m trying to take only one lens’ when I go hiking. Still deciding on 16mm, 24mm or 35mm. Thanks

Your camera skills are off the scale! It also doesn’t hurt that your forests are as beautiful. I can only hike there in my dreams, but I can dream.

I was just living in Spain for three years and I'm so dissapointed I was never able to spend time in the Slovakian wilderness. Your pictures make me so jealous!

    Magnificent Forrest. Thank you
Since I retired, some times I stay awake all day, some times all night.
