One main issue i have with being tall, is that my feet are always hitting the shock cord suspension on my UQ. Not only that, but the shock cord counteracts my using the pull outs at the footend. I think the Superior hammock solves both those issues.
This is true. I've gone back to a 10' hammock using Superior Gear hammocks.
I'll be reviewing the new StarLite hammock from Superior Gear pretty soon. Used it on my 5 Day Canoe trip. Liked it.

Are you using a full length or 3/4 UQ? I find that with the 3/4 length UQ my feet tend to find the shock cord suspension when I'm moving around.

Im using a full length Burrow.

Looking forward to your review! I’ve often thought of trying a 10’ hammock out but worry about calf ridge. If superior gear is doing something different to help eliminate the calf ridge in a 10’ I’d definitely give one a try.

I get no calf ridge at all in my Insulated Winter Superior Gear or the new Starlite that I used on my recent 5 day canoe trip. Double layer...Cloud 71 inside layer and a light Argon outside layer. Snap on UQ.

My 30F 11ft Superior is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I would have got a 10 ft, but needed one in a hurry and this was the only one they had in stock. We'll see how it goes.

Likely not many.... but the next one leaving Chicago will do.... going by track shipment latest update.... l am fairly confident there is a 30*F superior hammock heading down to Aus.... lockdown or no lockdown superior hammocks is locked IN down under....

I naturally orded a 11"..... all my hammocks are 11" except my HHBP.... at 5-6... l to am intrigued to listen in with Shug's review and the 10" starlight.....

I'll throw a plug in for insulated hammocks, and an upcoming review for the Sheltowee insulated hammocks. My 10' Bonefire Whisper sounds a lot like Shug's review. No calf ridge in my 10' UL and the hang is static night to night, tree to tree. It's now my full time goto and part of my 10.33# kit.

I don't spend too much time hiking out of the Sheltowee's temp range, but I have plenty of other hammocks and partial UQ's to take to the lake in the summer or layer up in deer camp under 20.
