We're exactly one week away from the MB hang. Is everybody, who had reserved sites, still in?

I'm looking forward to this hang. Hopefully, the weather god will be good to us.

Unfortunately, I will not be coming. I reserved a site at Harold Parker but not at Meadow Brook.

I'm still up for kayak camping if you ever need any extra company.

Not sure I'll be able to make it, as much as I would love to. Might not be in Maine until Friday evening so it may not be to late to join for Saturday night.

I got an email from MB this morning and also talked to someone there as well.
    Here's a run down:

What is a Certificate of Compliance?

A Certificate of Compliance is a document being required by the governor’s office that says you will do or have done one of the following 3 things:

    1. Have already quarantined in the state for 14 days OR

    2. Will quarantine in the state for 14 days or the duration of your stay, whichever is shorter OR

    3. Have a negative test result for Covid-19 from a specimen taken less then 72 hours prior to your arrival in the state of Maine

    Who does this apply to?

All adults: from all states except for:

    1. Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New York, New Jersey or Connecticut

    2. Essential employee

    3. Those that spent last night in Maine

    a. The form would have been provided to the establishment you stayed with last night

Where do I get this Certificate of Compliance form?

    1. All Maine Lodging businesses will have blank forms for you to fill out onsite

    2. All Meadowbrook customers will have a pre-arrival email sent to them 1 week prior to check in with link to the form.

    3. Maine.gov has blank forms for download

What is done with these forms?

    1. The forms will stay onsite at the Maine lodging facility for a minimum of 30 days

    2. Meadowbrook Customers, Management will be shredding these documents every day once the 30-day retention requirement has been met.

    3. Meadowbrook Customers, the documents will be kept in a lockbox with limited access to protect your privacy

What validation documentation should I have when I come to Meadowbrook that I have done one of the three things on this form?

    1. Meadowbrook will not need any associated documentation, only the filled-out Certificate of Conformance is needed.

    2. Please do NOT provide any test results or medical records to any Meadowbrook staff.

What does quarantine at Meadowbrook look like?

    1. Meadowbrook has made all our services available remotely and can be accessed by calling the office at 207.443.4967

    2. Neither Meadowbrook staff nor local authorities are actively regulating or limiting any activity

Well I suppose now is as good a time as any for an introduction post. The girlfriend and I are new to hammocking (as of this year, i swore off the tent after moto-camping for 8 days through nova scotia and coming back in more back pain than I want to deal with ever again). She actually noticed the Harold hang got moved (the original hang was ~ 15minutes from my house), and mentioned maybe coming to this one. We'll be in site 77 saturday night (cant make it up friday night, gonna head out early saturday morning).

and as an FYI, will be throwing a flat top grill in the truck, just in case anyone feels the need

    Looking forward to meeting ya!
